For the pile, whisk milk with eggs, cinnamon and sugar.
Peel apples and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Dip the toast in the whisked milk-egg mixture and place the apples in layers starting with toast and finishing with apples in a large pot (about 5 layers).
Bake at 180° degrees for about 1 hour until the casserole is golden brown.
Serve the pile with powdered sugar.
