For the cut into strips with carrots, peel the onion and cut into fine cubes. Wash the carrots well (peel if necessary) and also finely dice.

Heat the oil in a pot and fry the onion pieces until translucent. Then add the meat to the glassy onions and fry briefly. Now add some water (until the meat is more than 3/4 covered).

Add the soup cube and the carrot pieces and simmer for about 20 minutes. When the meat is nice and soft, add the cream and stir in the mustard, salt, garlic and cumin.

Simmer again for about 10 minutes. If the sauce is still too liquid, thicken with a little flour.
