Instructions:

For the chicken satay skewers with peanut dip, first cut the chicken breast into 4 cm thick strips. Chop the garlic and ginger.

Mix garlic, ginger, turmeric, cane sugar, oil, soy sauce and salt to a marinade. Place chicken breasts in marinade and let marinate for about 2 hours.

Then remove chicken breasts from marinade and place on skewers. Heat some oil in a pan and sear the skewers all around.

For the peanut dip, seed the chili pepper according to your spiciness preference. Finely chop the peanuts with the chili and garlic cloves. Mix in oil, coconut milk, honey and lime juice.

Mix everything together well and garnish with cilantro if desired. Arrange the chicken satay skewers with peanut dip and serve.
