add the remaining brioche and break it up. Separate the eggs. Fold egg yolks into mixture, whip egg whites to egg whites and fold in as well. Season with nutmeg, pepper, salt and marjoram. Form small dumplings, place in boiling salted water, bring to the boil once and then pull next to the kitchen stove for 15 min.

Tip: Brioche can be ordered in advance at the bakery. You can also bake them yourself, recipes can be found in many baking books. As a substitute, white bread is suitable, but then the dumplings are no longer real palfy dumplings.
