Instructions:

For the Chafing Dish Chicken Wings, the juice of one lemon, soy sauce, oil, honey, garlic and chili sauce are mixed into a marinade and stirred until the honey is completely dissolved.

Trim the chicken wings on a board, cutting off the outermost tips. Cut the remaining wing in two at the joint. This will give you 30 pieces.

Pour marinade over wing pieces in a large bowl and let marinate overnight.

Place marinated chicken wings on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 220 °C for 20 minutes, in the meantime brushing with marinade repeatedly. The wings are ready when the meat can be easily removed from the bone with a fork.

Arrange the cooked wing pieces on a (chafing) plate.

Prepare a sweet and sour sauce from the remaining marinade. For this, drain the pineapple cubes, reserving juice for later. Cut the peppers into small cubes and bring to the boil together with the pineapple in a little vinegar and chicken soup.

Mix pineapple juice with cornstarch and pour into peppers and pineapple, stirring constantly. Let simmer for about 2 minutes until the sauce becomes creamy and mix in the remaining marinade.

Serve the Chafing Dish Chicken Wings together with the sweet and sour sauce.
