Kumquats rinse, dry, cut into slices (or cut the untreated orange with peel into small pieces), mix with the sugar (1 tbsp ), heat in a saucepan until the sugar is slightly caramelized. Remove the peel from the mango, remove the flesh from the stone and cut into small pieces. Rinse the peaches or nectarines, dry them, cut them in half, remove the stone and chop the flesh. Mix two tablespoons of sugar with the jelling powder. Stir the fruit with the rest of the sugar until it bubbles up (time according to the instructions on the package).

Fold in the jelling powder, continue to cook for one minute while stirring. Fold in saffron and fill into jars.
