For the spaghetti carbonara, first cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain.

In the meantime, chop the ham for the sauce. Peel and finely chop the onions. Chop the parsley finely.

Melt the butter in a pan and sauté the onions in it. Add the ham. Pour in whipping cream, bring to the boil again and season with salt and pepper.

Stir in the spaghetti and serve the Spaghetti Carbonara sprinkled with parsley.
