A simple but delicious cake recipe:

For the dough, mix butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs and lemon flavoring. Finally, sift in the flour and baking powder. Mix the dough until creamy and spread evenly on a greased frying pan.

Bake at 160 °C for about 30 minutes.

Then pierce the cake with a fork until the surface is completely pitted. This is necessary so that the icing can penetrate well into the cake.

To make the icing, stir together the powdered sugar and juice of one lemon until thick and spread well evenly over the cake while it is still hot, using a tablespoon.

Cool the cake well before cutting, it tastes best when it has had a day to infuse.
