Instructions:

Cook the long grain rice in enough boiling hot salted water until just tender. Drain.

Cut the pineapple into cubes. Cut the ham into small squares.

Chop the onion and garlic. Peel and thinly slice the ginger. Cut the pepper into strips. Remove the seeds from the chili peppers and chop them finely.

Heat the oil. Sauté the ginger, garlic, onion, hot pepper and chili peppers while turning.

Add pineapple cubes, ham and pine nuts and sauté.

Add sherry, soy sauce, long grain rice and soup. Cook at high temperature, turning the ingredients, until the liquid is almost completely cooked. Finally, season the dish with salt and pepper and sprinkle with parsley.

Tip: It is best to use your favorite ham – then your dish will taste twice as good!
