For the rowan elderberry jelly, first to obtain the rowanberry juice, cover the rowan berries with water and boil until soft, then strain through a tea towel. From the juice thus obtained take 750 ml use.
For the elderberry juice, crush the elderberries, heat to about 80 degrees Celsius and also strain through a tea towel. Use 500 ml of this juice.
Bring juice, sugar and citric acid to a boil while stirring. Boil for about 10 minutes, pour into jars while still hot and quickly seal the rowan elderberry jelly.
