Instructions:

Place the oat flakes in a small saucepan. Toast lightly at low temperature for 5 min. while stirring. (Alternatively: place on a small, flat baking sheet under broiler). Cool well.

Whip the whipping cream in a small saucepan with a hand mixer until well stiff. Add the honey and whiskey and fold in briefly.

Using a metal spoon, fold in the cooled, toasted oatmeal.

Alternate layers of raspberries and whipped cream evenly in six tall dessert glasses, with the whipped cream forming the last layer. Serve sprinkled with toasted oatmeal.

Tip: Strawberries taste best when they are in season in our area! If possible, buy local products!
