For the non-alcoholic mulled wine, rinse the untreated lemon and orange with hot water and rub dry. Peel thin strips of 1 tablespoon each of lemon peel and orange peel (do not use the bitter white skin).

Squeeze the juice from all fruits. Empty the freshly made, still hot fruit tea into a pot and add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Strain, pour into fireproof glasses and serve immediately.
