For the pears in cheese dough, drain the pears, place cut side down in a baking dish. Spread ham cubes on top.

Separate the egg, beat the egg whites until stiff. Cream butter and yolks, add flour, baking powder, cheese and sour cream.

Season with salt and pepper, fold in the beaten egg white. Spread the batter over the pears. Bake in the oven at 200 °C for about 20 minutes. Serve with toast.
