Instructions:

For the carrot mashed potatoes with cheese topping, peel the potatoes and cook in salted water. Press through a potato ricer, add milk and butter and beat with a hand mixer or whisk to a fine mash.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into small sticks. Now cook them in the vegetable soup until firm to the bite. Fold the cooked carrots into the mashed potatoes and season everything with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Put the mixture into a baking dish and bake with the cheese in the oven at 180 °C for approx. 15 minutes (the cheese should have a golden yellow cap).
