For the semolina casserole, first beat the eggs with salt and sugar until the mixture is foamy. Then add semolina and baking powder.

Prepare a cake pan or loaf pan and grease with butter. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake the dough for about 15 minutes at 180 °C hot air, until it has become a little golden on the surface.

While the dough is in the oven, heat the milk with the vanilla sugar in a pot on the stove (do not bring to a boil!).

Then remove the cake briefly from the oven and carefully pour the milk over the dough. Return the pan to the oven and continue baking until the milk is completely absorbed.

This will take about 30 minutes. It is best to test with a wooden skewer whether the semolina casserole is already ready.
