Rinse the potatoes, remove the skin and cut into thick slices. Remove the skin from the onions and cut them into rings. Cut the leek in half, rinse and cut into wide strips. Cut the bacon into cubes. Cut the meat into thicker slices.

Put a layer of potatoes in a large roasting pan, top with onions, leek and bacon. Season and add a little bit of sour cream. Spread the meat evenly on top and cover with the remaining onions, leek, potatoes and bacon. Season these as well and spread the remaining sour cream evenly on top. Put the bay leaves in and pour the cider over it.

Put the roaster in the heated oven at 220 °C. 90 min. the lid should be on the roaster, 30 min. without the lid.
