For the potato and bean pan, peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Fry the bacon in a pan and then remove it.
Heat the oil in the pan, add the potato cubes, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and let the potatoes brown on the bottom.
After 5-10 minutes, remove the lid and fry the browned potatoes, turning on all sides, for another 10 minutes.
Add diced onion and diced garlic 5 minutes before the end of the frying time. Heat the red beans in the potato pan, season with salt, pepper and Tabasco and sprinkle with the bacon.
