Plums rinse, remove seeds and sprinkled with sugar, leave to juice for 1 hour.

Stew fruit with tap water and juice in a closed saucepan at the lowest temperature until soft. Add clove, cinnamon, juice of one lemon and zest and cool the plums on the turned off stove top.

Cut out the spices and chop the fruit in a hand blender or with a hand blender. Then pass through a fine sieve. Put the plum puree into an ice cream maker and freeze. Arrange oval dumplings with a tablespoon and place on the table.

Add to Glühwein-Guglhupf A. : Ripe plums have the best flavor for this ice cream specialty. Other plum varieties, such as egg plums or possibly Reineclauden, are not as suitable.

Tip: Cook only with high-quality spices – they are the be-all and end-all in a good dish!
