A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Bake cake:

1. preheat the kitchen stove to 175 °C. Grease a 26 cm cake springform pan or possibly a large gratin dish well.

Mix sugar, oil and eggs until light creamy. Mix in orange juice and cinnamon, salt, zest, breadcrumbs and nuts. Fill the dough into the form.

Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes until the top is lightly browned.

Leave the cake in the pan.

Make syrup:

4. make juices, honey, sugar, cinnamon and water meanwhile until sugar is dissolved. Continue to simmer for 5-10 min until syrup forms (spoon test). Cool to room temperature.

5. 3 cm apart, perforate the cake with a wooden skewer vertically to the bottom of the mold. Drench the perforated cake evenly with the syrup. 6.

Leave the cake to stand for several hours until the syrup has penetrated the cake well. Now cut the cake into rombs and bring to the table. The cake looks especially oriental if small pieces of gold leaf are sprinkled on top.
