For the spicy rump steaks, wash and dry the meat and season with salt and pepper.

Heat the oil in a pan and fry the steaks on all sides. Then add the lychees with all the juice and pour everything with the Asian stock and the sherry.

Now stir in the chili paste and season with salt and pepper. Let everything cook for about 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook the rice according to instructions.

Remove the meat from the sauce and keep warm.

Bring the sauce to the boil and finally stir in the crème fraîche. Serve the rump steaks with the sauce and the rice.
