Instructions:

For the marinade, crush the dried chili pepper in a mortar with a pestle. Stir the crushed dried chili pepper, chili seasoning, ground ginger, and lime zest in a small baking bowl.

Rub the herb mixture extensively into the chicken wings with your fingertips. Set aside for at least 2 hours to allow the chicken wings to absorb the flavors.

Heat the peanut oil in a large wok or skillet.

Add the chicken wings and deep-fry for 10-12 minutes, turning often to the other side, until golden brown and crispy. Pour off excess oil.

Add soy and garlic, honey, hoisin sauce and sesame seeds to the wok form and turn the chicken wings in it to the other side to coat them completely.

Reduce temperature and roast for 20 to 25 min. Turn chicken wings frequently to the other side until cooked all the way through. Bring to table hot.

Chicken wings one. Defrost completely before serving and heat through in the oven, covered with foil.

Our tip: As an alternative to fresh herbs, you can also use frozen ones – they also stand out for their fresh taste!
