For baked goulash, heat the lard in a large pot and sauté the onion cut into small cubes. Add the meat cut into large cubes and fry.

Add salt, tomato paste, marjoram, paprika powder, finely chopped garlic, pour vinegar and 1/2 l water. Cover and simmer slowly until tender. Finally, thicken with flour if necessary.

It is best to prepare the goulash a day in advance and freeze it in a shallow bowl after it has cooled down. Once frozen, turn it out of the mold slightly thawed, cut 5-7 cm pieces with a sharp knife and freeze again.

Meanwhile, for the breading, whisk the eggs with the milk. Remove the goulash pieces in batches and coat well in flour, egg and the breadcrumbs. Immediately put them in the deep fryer and deep fry at 180 degrees.

Serve with egg in a jar and salad.
