Instructions:

For the crumble, knead the butter with the ingredients listed.

Cover the bottom of a greased gratin dish with half of the crumble.

For the curd mixture, cream butter with sugar and vanilla sugar, fold in remaining ingredients.

Whip egg whites until stiff and fold in. Cut strawberries into small pieces, mix carefully with the curd mixture and pour into the gratin dish. Spread the remaining crumble evenly over the top. Place in the cold oven. E: middle, T: 200 °C / 45 to 55 min.

Serve with vanilla ice cream.
