Instructions:

First set aside about 10 g butter and 10 g sugar.

Mix butter with sugar, cinnamon and semolina. From the lemon and orange, shave down the peel and add to the batter.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Pour the mixture into a cake ring and smooth it out.

Peel the apples and remove the core. Cut into slices and spread on top of the mixture.

Heat the remaining butter with the sugar and coat the apples.

Bake the cake at 180 °C convection oven for approx. 45 minutes.
