For the plum cake with crumble, mix all the ingredients for the crumble and knead well. Put the mixed amount in a bowl and chill in the refrigerator.

Wash the plums, dry them, cut them in half and remove the seeds.

Mix the flour, dry yeast, salt, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the melted butter, egg and lukewarm milk and knead well for at least 4 minutes.

Butter a baking sheet and empty the dough in the center of the sheet. Spread the dough in all corners of the tray so that there is the same amount of dough in all places.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top and bottom heat). Meanwhile, spread the plums on the dough and press them lightly into the dough.

Bake the dough for 8 minutes. Then remove the tray.

Sprinkle the chilled crumble all over the dough. Put the tray back into the oven.

Bake the dough for another 8 – 11 minutes. As soon as the dough and the crumble take on a light golden tone, the plum cake with crumble is ready.
