Have you tried this delicious recipe with red wine?

Heat the oven to 180 °C C.

Stir the oil and juice of one lemon with the vinegar, add the pressed bay leaves, garlic, juniper berries, sage and rosemary, season lightly with salt and season with pepper. Marinate the rabbit pieces in this marinade for about three to four hours, turning occasionally.

Remove the rabbit pieces from the marinade and drain a little. Heat olive oil in a roasting pan, season the meat with salt and pepper and brown all over. Deglaze with the marinade, put the lid on, remove from the stove and braise in the oven for forty to forty-five minutes.

Remove the lid, pour red wine and continue steaming without the lid for about fifteen to twenty minutes until the liquid is reduced.
