For the onion fillet, cut the beef fillet into 0.5cm wide and 2cm long strips, fry all around in hot oil for 10 minutes.

Cut onions into rings, crush garlic, add to meat, dust with flour and deglaze with soup and beer. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes.

Season the onion fillet with salt, pepper, caraway and thyme and let it stand for another 5 minutes.
