For the juicy apple pie, cream butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar and salt. Stir in grated lemon zest, flour and baking powder. Finally, stir in the finely grated apples.

Spread on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 190°C in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Brush with a thin layer of lemon glaze when hot or sprinkle with sugar when cooled. Serve the juicy apple pie.
