Halve the onion and cut into narrow strips. Sauté in the hot butter without browning the onions. Add the bread cut into small cubes and sauté briefly. Add milk and season. Cook the onion and bread on a low fire for 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Refine with cream and sprinkle with chives. Heat the boiled meat slices in the soup and serve together with the “Krausi”. If desired, garnish with mustard fruits or pickled vegetables.

Tip: As an alternative to fresh chives, you can also use the freeze-dried.
