Beat sugar and egg until foamy. Add buttermilk and oil and beat the mixture again.

Mix flour, baking powder and baking soda and stir into the batter. Finally, fold in the raspberries.

Pour the batter into muffin tins. Bake the muffins in the oven at 170 °C for about 25 minutes.
