For the pineapple-melon jam, combine all ingredients, bring to a boil, blend and simmer for 5-7 minutes. Make a gelling test, possibly with the help of a whisk. Stir the pectin powder into the hot mixture (mix the powder with some powdered or fine crystal sugar to prevent the jelly from clumping). The cooking time is then one more minute.

Immediately pour the pineapple-melon jam into prepared jars. With the help of an eyedropper, sprinkle with a few drops of alcohol, light and seal immediately.
