For the hollow buns, first sift flour and powdered sugar. Then stir in the melted butter and the egg white. Mix well and pass through a fine-mesh sieve so that no lumps remain in the dough. Chill the dough, then it is easier to work with.

Cover a baking tray with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

Take the dough out of the refrigerator and spread it thinly in a rectangular shape on the baking paper. Bake for about 2 minutes.

Then work quickly. Cut the dough into strips, depending on how long you want the hollow buns to be. Roll onto mini foam roll pans or other suitable rods and let cool completely. Carefully release the hollow hips from the molds.
