Instructions:

Wash the long grain rice well under running water so that no starch remains.

Dice the vegetables of your choice.

Mix turmeric with oil and add to the cold vegetable soup in a saucepan, season with salt.

Add the long grain rice and finally add the vegetables on top of the rice.

Cover the saucepan with a lid and bring to the boil. Reduce the temperature and simmer the long grain rice gently for 15 minutes.
