For the spinach lasagna, first chop the onion and garlic and fry half of each in a frying pan. Meanwhile, defrost the spinach leaves and add them to the onion and garlic. Then stir in the cream cheese, season everything with nutmeg, salt and pepper and simmer.

Sauté the other half of the onion and garlic with a grated carrot. Then add tomato paste and pour the strained tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper and spices (basil, oregano, according to taste).

Pour some tomato sauce into the baking dish and place a lasagna sheet on top. Then add the spinach layer on top and add the mozzarella cubes cut into small pieces. This is followed by another layer of tomato sauce – lasagna sheet – spinach – mozzarella. Repeat again and finally sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake the spinach lasagna in the preheated oven at 170 °C convection oven for about 40 minutes.
