Instructions:

Brown the onions, add water and oil, stir, add the alicha, fry the meat briefly, fill the pot half full with water, cook on low heat, add the peppers, season.

Just before everything is cooked together, put the basil plant on top and pull. Remove before serving.

Notes: Alicha is made from green peppers dried in the sun and crushed without seeds. As a substitute, curry, or curry + chili, or harissa powder, which is sometimes available, can be used.

Injera, which cannot be produced in Germany, is served with the dishes. To the approximately style-fair meals one can take grainy cooked white bread and/or long grain rice.

For Dinitsch-Alitscha one takes raw, peeled and quartered potatoes, rest of the preparation is identical.
