Instructions:

Chop the onions and garlic and sauté with the bacon until translucent.

Clean and chop the vegetables. Add to the onions and sauté for three minutes.

Add the beef broth and simmer on low heat for thirty minutes. Cut the tomatoes into quarters and add to the soup. Simmer for another seven minutes.

Add pasta (or long grain rice) and cook until tender.

Season the soup with spices and wine. Chop the parsley and sprinkle it over the soup. We will also sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (freshly grated, of course).

Our tip: Use a bacon with a strong flavor – so you give this dish a special touch!
