Prepare the sponge dough according to the basic recipe and now bake the dough in a cake springform pan in the heated oven at 175 °C for 10 minutes until golden.

Soak the gelatine in water. Separate the eggs into yolks and whites. Mix the curd cheese with the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla sugar. Pour the water from the gelatin, warm it briefly and stir it into the whiskey and then this mixture into the curd mass. Separately, whip the egg whites and whipped cream until stiff and fold them into the curd mixture.

Wrap the rim of the cake tin around the base and fill it with the curd mixture. Then grate the cooking chocolate over the cake and place it in the refrigerator for about one hour.

Tip: Feel free to use better chocolate – the more delicious the result will taste!
