(**) Long grain green rice: The appetizing green color of this rice does not necessarily come from the leaves of pandan grass. Therefore, it is worthwhile once again to read the product declaration on the packaging. If the long-grain rice comes from Vietnam, its color is due to chemical additives. If it comes from Thailand, the type of color additive must be declared in detail. If “natural color additive” has a number in parentheses, the color came from the chemical plant and not from the pandan leaf.

Separate rice grains. Beat eggs with salt. Brown shallots (1) in 2/5 of the oil, add egg mixture, scramble to “egg batter”. Put on plates.

Brown onion and garlic in 2/5 of the oil. Add 1 cm pieces of sausage and leftover meat. Sauté. Add vegetable cubes, cook for 3 minutes.

Fry shallots (2) in remaining oil, add long grain rice. Heat, always turning to the other side. Season. Bind with chicken soup and sugar. “Scramble” eggs, stir in meat and vegetables. Serve hot, sprinkled with pepper and cilantro.
