Season the chicken pieces with salt and season with pepper. Heat the oil in a saucepan with a tight-fitting lid. Fry the chicken pieces in it and add the juice of one lemon.

Add the rest of the ingredients to the chicken.

Close the pot and cook in a hot stove at 190 °C for about 45 minutes. The sauce will curdle a bit due to the lemon peel, but that’s the way it should be. Serve the chicken with roasted bread and sauce.
