Try this delicious cake recipe:

For the dough, put flour in a suitable bowl. Press a hollow in the middle, crumble yeast into it, sprinkle with sugar.

Add a little milk and stir with a little flour from the edge to form a dampfl.

Cover and let rise in a warm place for half an hour. The volume must double.

Later add sugar and remaining milk. Spread eggs, salt and fat in flakes evenly on the flour rim. Prepare everything into a smooth yeast dough. Beat until the dough separates from the bottom of the bowl and bubbles. Sprinkle raisins with flour, mix and knead into the dough.

Rise again for half an hour.

Grease a large two-pound loaf pan. Pour in the yeast dough. Cut the surface with the back of a knife.

Let rise for 20 minutes in a warm place with the lid closed, until the dough exceeds the edge of the mold.

Bake in a heated oven at 175 °C (gas: level 2) for 60 min.
