Instructions:

In a large saucepan, bring enough salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti al dente according to the package instructions. Then drain in a sieve, drizzle two tablespoons of olive oil over it and cool.

In the meantime, peel the garlic cloves and crush them with the drained tomatoes. Add the remaining olive oil and mix the tomato puree with the pasta. Add the washed and finely diced tomatoes and season with salt and freshly ground pepper.

Serve the salad sprinkled with chopped basil.
