For the Valentine chocolate hearts, melt the butter or margarine, add the chocolate and melt it too.

Beat the yolks and sugar until light and fluffy, add the chocolate butter, mix the flour with the cornstarch and almonds.

Beat the egg whites with the salt and baking powder until stiff, add the sugar and continue beating until the mixture is glossy.

Gently fold the almond flour and beaten egg whites into the egg mixture. Pour the mixture into buttered, floured silicone heart molds and bake in the oven at 180 °C for about 20 – 25 minutes.

Let cool slightly, press out of the mold and let cool completely. Color the marzipan with the red food coloring, roll out on some powdered sugar to a thickness of 3 mm and cut out hearts.

Whip the cream with the cream stiffener and the cocoa powder until stiff, fill into a piping bag, decorate the Valentine’s chocolate hearts with it and top with a marzipan heart.
