Instructions:

Quite simple, inexpensive.

Separately, cover the lentils well with water. Pin the bay leaves on the halved onions with the cloves and add them.

Make green lentils ten to twelve, red lentils about three min. Season with salt only at the end, then drain.

Mix buckwheat flour and flour with eggs, egg yolks and the milk.

Season with pepper, salt, sugar and nutmeg (freshly grated). Allow to swell for about thirty minutes.

Whip the egg whites until very stiff and fold them into the dough.

Brush a large frying pan generously with oil and heat to medium-hot. Using a tablespoon, place about five-cm diameter taler in the fat. Sprinkle lentils on top.

First make sure the bottom side is completely firm, then turn to the other side and toast briefly on the lentil side. While doing this, perhaps add a tiny bit of 0el.

Keep warm on a tray in the stove.
