Instructions:

Mix the yeast with 1 tsp. sugar and a little bit of lukewarm water and let it rise. Make an indentation in the center of the flour and pour in the risen yeast. Also add the remaining ingredients. Work the dough well until it is smooth and no longer sticks to your hands. Let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free place until it doubles in size. Then shape it into a loaf, cut a pattern with a kitchen knife, let it rise for another half hour, brush it with warm water and bake it in an electric kitchen oven at 200 degrees for 60-70 minutes.
