Pasta dishes are just always delicious!

Put the prepared vegetables, peas, crushed garlic clove and finely chopped parsley in a large saucepan. Cover with 2 liters of cold water and bring to a boil. Add salt and simmer gently for an hour. A few minutes before the end of the cooking time, add the small squares of dough (Fleckerl), the diced tomatoes and the basil to the pot. Repeatedly simmer the soup, remove from the heat, add the olive oil and freshly ground pepper. Serve in a warmed soup bowl or directly in warmed soup plates.

Bring to the table hot.
