For the cider cake, first preheat the oven to 175 °C and prepare the baking pan. Mix the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, oil and cider together well.

Sift the baking powder and flour and stir in well, too. Finally, fold in the chocolate flakes and pour the batter into a large deep dish (baking tray), or muffin tins.

Baking time for the muffin tins is about 20 minutes.

For the baking sheet, about 50-60 minutes (test with chopsticks). When cooled, spread with heated apricot jam. Mix well 200 g powdered sugar, 1 KL oil and 1-2 tbsp cider, coat the cider cake with it and decorate as desired.
