Cut the meat into pieces of ragout, put them in a container, then add the wine and marinate for about 5-6 hours. Then remove the meat from the marinade and fry it in olive oil. After some time the fat of the meat is melted and with a slotted spoon you take out the browned meat to form it in another cooking pot. Season with coriander seeds and salt and deglaze with red wine. Let the afelia simmer for about 1 hour with the lid closed. Afelia tastes good with long grain rice or mashed potatoes, but best with Bourgouri Pilaf.

Our tip: Use high-quality red wine for a particularly fine taste!
