Instructions:

For the anise tree, quickly make a shortcrust pastry from the given ingredients and chill for at least one hour.

Then roll out the dough quite thin (2 mm) and cut out little trees. Bake the trees on a baking tray lined with baking paper at 180 degrees for 5 minutes until the spitters turn brown.

Coat the cooled cookies with a thin lemon glaze and decorate the anise trees with sugar pearls as desired.
