A great cake recipe for any occasion:

(*) for a mold of 28 cm ø Cover the cake pan with the dough, prick. Cut the dough for the lattice into 0.5 cm wide strips. Chill.

Peel and core the Boskoop apples, turn them to the other side in the juice of one lemon. Mix all ingredients for the glaze, heat apricot jam, spread through a sieve. Preheat the oven to 190 °C.

Cover dough with apple slices in a circle, sprinkle with sugar. Place strips of dough on top. Put everything in the oven for about 25 minutes. Then pour as much glaze on the apples until it sticks to the edge of the dough. Bake again for about 15 minutes. Spread with the jam. Enjoy hot, warm or room temperature.
