Instructions:

First, put the flour, dry yeast, sugar and salt in a bowl and mix.

Melt the butter in a saucepan and pour in the milk so that it warms slightly.

Pour the milk and butter into the bowl with the dry ingredients and knead everything into a smooth dough.

Cover the yeast dough with a damp tea towel and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour.

In the meantime, cook the vanilla pudding according to instructions and let it cool.

Meanwhile, peel and core the apples and cut them into fine little slices.

Squeeze half the lemon and fold the juice and cinnamon into the apples.

For the nut filling, put the butter in a saucepan, melt it and stir in the sugar and hazelnuts.

Roll out the yeast dough into a rectangle and spread evenly with the nut mixture.

Then spread the cooled vanilla pudding over it.

Then place the apple slices on top and sprinkle the walnuts on top.

Loosely roll up the dough and cut into 3-4 cm thick slices.

Place the raw snails in a mold greased with butter. (Keep a little space between them, because the apple-walnut-cinnamon snails rise during baking).

Mix whipped cream and sugar briefly and pour over the apple-walnut-cinnamon buns.

Cook at 180 °C on indirect heat in the grill or in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until the whipped cream is absorbed by the apple-walnut-cinnamon buns.

Mix powdered sugar with water or lemon juice ve
